Dell 20" WIDESCREEN LCD for ONLY $289
From the Digg article:
Great monitor for great price. Even bests the 2007WFP with a 5ms response time, compared to the latter's 16ms, but the best news comes in the form of the spankin' $289 pricetag, which compares quite favorably to the 2007WFP's $529 MSRP, or even its $400-ish Froogle price.
Wow!

The End of Broadcast Television?
Between Podcasts, iTunes TV shows, and the work I do on the computer, my TV watching time has really dwindled to those points in time where I watch a little bit just before I go to bed. Today on Digg there was a story about how to get to Penn & Tellers most recent Showtime series from Google Video. I watched one episode (Alien Abduction) and really enjoyed it. I really like being able to start, stop, pause something that I am watching whenever I feel like it and picking it up whenever, maybe a month from now.
Is it the end of Broadcast Television? I don't know, but it may be the end for me.
Ah well, I have another episode of Security Now, I want to finish before I go to bed.

Dashboard
I am playing with a Mac Dashboard widget that lets me post directly to this blog. When Apple first introduced the Dashboard, I didn't think I'd like it, but now I really find it useful, to quickly be able to swap to a calculator, calendar, weather, news. My whole Dashboard is filled with these little things. And yes, I have looked at how much memory these things take up and it is substantial. But I like them.
